Tim Vaitekunas Director of Marketing and R&D today announced a potent new addition to the Winchester Smokeless line called Supreme 780™. Supreme 780 is the same powder loaded in Winchester’s factory Supreme® ammunition including 243 Win., 270 Win., and 300 Win. Mag.
“This propellant allows the handloader to duplicate Winchester Supreme factory loads,” said Tim discussing this product. “Our state-of-art ballistics laboratory has initially developed data for 14 different cartridges with over 35 different recipes”.
Supreme 780 is a Ball Powder® propellant, which means easy measure flow resulting in the most consistent charge weights. Comparable in burn speed to H4831®, it fills a spot that previously was not available in Winchester Smokeless offerings.

Tom Shepherd, Hodgdon President/CEO, just won the Missouri State Skeet Championship High Overall. Earlier this summer, Doug Delsemme, Hodgdon’s Vice President General Counsel, succeeded in taking his 2nd Missouri State Muzzleloading title.
Tom broke 397 out of 400 clay targets at the Cedar Creek Gun Club in Columbia, Missouri, August 17-19.
The Missouri State Muzzleloading Championship, held in Lone Jack, Missouri June 8-10, was the site where Doug finished first over three time Missouri state victor, and Hodgdon National Sales Manager, Tom Bowen.

Shawnee Mission, Ks, 23 April 2007: Today from his office at Hodgdon Powder Company corporate headquarters in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, Mike Daly head of Hodgdon Customer Satisfaction, announced the introduction of the company’s new web based Reloading Data Center, also know as RDC. Mike said “ The RDC will allow reloaders from around the world to access the same load recipe database used by the Hodgdon Customer Service staff to answer customer questions.” Mike went on to say, “ Day or night, weekday or weekend the public now has access to thousands of loads for rifle, pistol and shotshell using the 52 powders we supply to the canister market. And, it’s available at no charge.”
RDC can be accessed from www.hodgdon.com, www.wwpowder.com, or www.imrpowder.com. No matter which website gateway is used, data for Hodgdon, IMR and Winchester powders are available in the RDC. The RDC is supplied with a print function that will format data into a printer friendly chart that fits neatly onto standard printer paper. Selected data may also be emailed directly from the RDC to a separate remote computer or handheld data management device such as a PDA or cell phone.
RDC is the most innovative source of reloading data delivery ever offered by the shooting industry. No other single source offers the shear volume of data that can be found on the RDC. With data for 144 rifle cartridges, 84 pistol cartridges and 5 shotgun gauges, the RDC leads the way in reloading data.
